Beloved Community Presbyterian Church's history reaches back to 1794 with 12 congregations from 5 different denominations that have served the Northside.
Beloved Community Presbyterian Church is a progressive faith community based in the Presbyterian Church (USA). We seek to love God and love neighbor and are rooted in hope, joy, imagination, and critical thinking. We are dedicated to pursuing peace and social justice here on the Northside and throughout the world.
We believe:
That Christ's life was one of radical love and inclusiveness.
That all people, no matter what, bear the image of God.
That everyone is welcome to the Table to participate in Communion.
That we are called to be the hands and feet of God, serving those in need.
That we are to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God.
